The past two weeks we've discussed the snowfall that we had over the winter break and the effect it had on our local plants. Although we are grateful for the needed water to this region many local plants are not used to the cold or weight of a blanket of snow and were damaged or destroyed by it.
Prior to going on break we planted cabbage, sweet banana peppers, red bell peppers, hawaiin sage, cinnamon basil, and parsley (Donated by Bonnie Plants nursery) and all but the cabbage and the parsley were destroyed.
